There have been some recent talks about putting some sort of forum/discussion system on iCodeBlog.  It appears that writing problems and solutions in the comments section is not sufficient.  I’m not too sure about this as I feel this might make the site a little cluttered.  However, I am completely willing to put one in place if enough people are interested and could find benefit in it.

With that in mind, I have created a poll.  Go ahead and fill it out and if enough people want a forum, I will put one on iCodeBlog.

Let me know what you guys think…

Happy iCoding!

We love your site and your tuts. lets talk about it in a nicer manner :)
    The crowd wants a forum

  • Adam

A forum can only be successful if everybody contributes to it. Most forum I have seen that went down has most taker than giver.

  • Uhu

Adam youre completely right, but the forum should be for discussing the questions the people have about the tutorials. the comment function doesnt deliver a good platform to do that.

I also see the problem with the contributing-gradient and imbalance in knowledge to supply. But thats the reason this site exists. To supply non-knowing people (the majority) with knowledge.

As long as we all dont just leech but try to give sth back it will sure work, because a small but cooperating group is much better than a huge impersonal crowd of leechers.

    Kind regards Uhu

I suggest people with enough experience should create screencasts and put them on for sale on icodeblog to
encourage the creation of screencasts, sale price should be 1.99 or more depending on quality and length.. and some revenue should go to the author and icodeblog

Have you read the tutorials on the site. The tutorial I wrote about switching between views should provide some insight.

Also, if you have more questions, post them in the forums.
